Copper the Newbie

Here you can find my adorable and playful dog named Copper. He is a 7-year old Pomeranian that loves to run around the house or sneak out to play outside. I am thinking of getting another dog so that he won't be bored, it has been two years now when my Labrador Retriever passes away. I just don't know how to introduce a new friend to him and what type of breed to get from the animal shelter. Also, he has just undergone a dog bath and grooming my 3-years old baby girl didn't like it so she added some hair accessories that blends well with his fur.

Personally I would contact a few shelters nearby and ask if they have a suitable dog for you and Copper. They can also advice you how to introduce correctly.
And I have the same question as Lizzy.
